Oktoberfest @ Schuetzen Park,
October 22nd at 8pm
Considered the largest cultural festival in the world, the Oktoberfest is celebrated by over 6 million people. YGAC brings a flavor of Munich, Germany to the New York/New Jersey region with their own modern brand of fun. With recording artists, the Original Schlossberg Quinttet from Tyrol, Austria making it's only area appearance before performances at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, YGAC offers true german culture.
D'Heimatsgruppe will be "Doing It!" in lederhosen -- that's traditional Bavarian Schuhplatter dances -- as this celebrated PVV member continues 2004 commemorating it's long overdue induction into the Gau Verband of North America. They're coming to STOMP SCHUETZEN PARK! Be apart of the fun for this year-long awaited festival.

continually celebrated cultural events in the United States. We
celebrate the culture and contributions to our great country.
The Volksfest is a charity event run by the clubs of the PVV for
the benefit of the Fritz-Reuter Altenheim. This year, The
Evergreens from the Black Forest will provide us music with
D'Heimatsgruppe and Erst Gottscheer Tanzgruppe dancing. Raffle
prizes include a roundtrip Lufthansa ticket to Germany. All this
culminates with the crowning of "Little Miss Schuetzen Park".
